Don Ryan & Co. Solicitors provides an extensive service to clients and their accountants in applications to the District Court under section 343 of the Companies Act 2014. With effect from June 1st 2015, applications for an extension of time to file an annual return may be made to the local District Court where the client’s companies registered offices are located.

Help to Buy Scheme

The Help to Buy Incentive is a scheme introduced by Revenue in 2016 and is designed to assist First Time Buyers of new properties or those that Self-Build properties, in getting together the required deposit. The scheme works as a refund of Income Tax and DIRT (Deposit Interest Retention Tax) paid over the previous 4 years. USC and PRSI contributions are not taken into account.

Enduring Powers of Attorney

An Enduring Power of Attorney is a legal document which enables you (donor) to grant authority to a named person or persons (your Attorney) to act on your behalf and deal with your property and financial affairs as well as certain personal care decisions in the event that you become unable to do so at some stage in the future.
